I am the kind of girl that as soon as I get a new item I start putting outfits together with it. This pretty silk top was a gift at the RewardStyle party from Piperlime’s new collection. It instantly struck me as the perfect wear-to-work top. I pairs it with a zip up pencil skirt i ordered from Target for work (Target has comfortable work skirts) and had the balls to ask Lihn to let me borrow her Chanel bag for the photoshoot. It was difficulty to have to give it back. When I showed my boyfriend a phot of me holding it he said I looked like a kid in a candy store. Well babe, that is because that is exactly how I felt!
Check out how the lights on the wall reflect from the cars passing by on the street.

I stepped out of my comfort zone with this outfit. Normally I am not one to expose my bra, but for this top- I was willing to push my own limits. I found this top on super sale at Bloomingdale’s months back and didn’t hesitate to take it home and save it for NYFW. The accessories and handbag were kept to a minimum to let the top shine. The strappy Brian Atwood heels added an extra sexy touch.
All night people kept staring at me and because I felt like I was wearing a shirt it didn’t bother me too much. This top will make an appearance on the blog again someday- maybe as it’s original purpose- a swimsuit cover up;) What do you think?
I had planned to wear this outfit to some of the Fashion Week shows, but ended up wearing it for a night on the town in the Meatpacking district. I love the cobblestone streets there and all the one-of-a-kind restaturans in the area. We wended up having dinner at a Mexican restaurant called Dos Caminos. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the family size guacamole and house margaritas.
The second day of fashion week started off with a visit to the Gia and Bollare PR showroom. Roxy and I learned that day that a subway is probably always faster than a cab when you have to go travel more than 20 city blocks.
I wore a pink silk Rebecca Minkoff dress I found on super clearance a few months ago. I cannot decide if my favorite part of the dress is the soft silk fabric, the hot pink color, or the backless peplum. The mini M.A.B. bag was an extra pop of color. I felt very lady like in this outfit with my hair in a bun and some cat-eye earrings. Very Aubry Hepburn like and a complete contrast from the outfit I wore that night which you’ll see next on the blog:)
Designer bags worth drooling over at the Bollare showroom! Loving the butterfly print on this Valentino bag!
