A bow jacket and oranges…Not your usual combination, but I made it work. This little bow jacket by Alice + Olivia is my new go-to piece for the fall. Cropped, black and with a big bow it is bound to go with anything.
Brian and I are spending our last day in Chicago today. It has been a wonderful trip and I cannot wait to share all of the photos and video diary with you all! Have a great week and thank you for reading my blog.
Happy Friday everyone! Brian and I arrived in Chicago late last night. Since this trip is my present to him for his birthday I didn’t even my laptop to blog (gasp!) But I do have my camera to capture our trip! I am excited to finally be in the windy city and really want to visit a cool vintage shop for a Chicago souvenir. Any recommendations? Follow along on my Instagram to see what we are up to @Laura__Lily.
Today’s outfit features a beautiful emerald green super-peplum top by a brand called Cameo. You would think the peplum is too much, but I love it. There can never be too much peplum! Make sure to order once size up as this top runs small!
It is already mid-October? Where did the time go?! The leaves may not be changing color here in Southern California, but the days are definitely getting shorter and the breeze a bit cooler. I’ve started wearing one of my favorite fall accessories wool hats. My collection grew quite quickly last year.
Brian and I leave for Chicago tomorrow for a four-day getaway. I have never been to Chicago before and I am quite excited to explore! We’ll be taking walking tours, going to dinner and the zoo. If any of you have any suggestions for us please let us know! You can follow along and see the cute fall outfits I’ve packed via my Instagram @Laura__Lily.
Style Tips: some shirts have the ability to be worn backwards and still look great. Take this sequin top, for example. I could easily flip this around and wear it with the sequins in front.
