I cannot believe that I have lived in Los Angeles for 7 years now and I had never been to the LA County Fair before this year! Thankfully I have a boyfriend that likes to go places. My favorite part of the fair? Propably getting to see the Zonkey and Zorse-one was a donkey mixed with a zebra and the other guy was a horse mixed with a zebra. I just wanted to take them home with me!
The gigantic and beautiful Budweiser Clydesdales!
Mine and Brian’s armcandy- his bracelet is handmade from Zambia, Africa, mine from a Balinese designer.
Shopping was the second best part. I found some little souveniers to take home with me including some red rhinestone earrings that may prove to be a bit of a challenge when trying to match them with an oiutfit. The other two bracelets, well, I could not decide on just one so I got both. Problem Solved. Check out the jeweler’s site: balimantra.com
Handmade soap made to look like cupcakes! Had me fooled. That it is the most delicious soap I have ever seen!
Young love <3
And of course who could forget all the deep friend food? I tried my first deep-fried Twinkie bar. Meh- not my thing. I really got into the grilled corn on the cob though. Good stuff! The fair ends this Sunday, September 30th- but I recommend everyone experience their own county fair at least once in their lifetime. Great place to take kids too with unlimited rides and carnival games to play.
