Why did you decide to start a fashion blog?
I originally thought about writing a book on how to dress, put pieces together, shopping tips, etc. Then I started following other fashion bloggers and though it looked really fun to post new style ideas and attend exciting fashion events so voila! My blog was born March 16th, 2012.

Is blogging your full-time job?
Not at this moment. I work as a Film Project Manager for a product placement company called Propaganda GEM. I am also a contributing writer for the LA Fashion Magazine. What can I say, I like to stay busy.

Who are your favorite designers?
I love BCBG Max Azria, Tory Burch, anything Express comes up with and everything Kate Middleton wears (Jenny Packham, Alexander McQueen, etc.)

Any style icons?
I love to see everything Kate Middleton wears- she is just such a classy, well dressed lady. Blake Lively is always hot.

When you grow up, what do you want to be?
I have not figured that out yet, ask me in a few years. Definitely something fashion related so that I can just look at shoes and purses all day. I still want to be designing jewelry too.

What is your favorite part about fashion blogging?
Getting to make use of all the clothes in my closet and inspiring my readers to dress there best without having to spend all their money on clothes. I love getting comments from my readers on what they like about my posts.

What are you looking forward to next?
New York Fashion Week! It has been a dream of mine to go and I finally going to make it happen! I am also looking forward to fall because it is my favorite fashion season.

One fashion related thing you want more than anything else?
A walk in closet. It is my dream to have a beautiful display. I would love the closet to be big enough where I can walk in, close the door and be in there for hours. Maybe I’ll have a mimosa bar in there too for when I am getting ready

What is your background?
Born and raised in Minnesota, moved to Los Angeles when I was a senior in high school and I have been here ever since. UCLA grad.  I am half Persian and half Swedish so I got lucky being as tall as I am- but funny story- at 5′ 9″ I am the shortest one in my family. Go figure.

What are some unique things your readers might like to know?
I have a horse, an Arabian named Zcinny (Z-in-knee) and I have had him for 9 years. He is a darling.
I also admit to being a shop-a-holic, but I rarely pay full price for anything- I tend to wait until I have a coupon or it goes on sale.
