A very special thank you for everyone that came out to support me at my first hosting event. It meant so much to me to see all of your lovely faces there! Thank you to Judith Bright (Dayna and Judith) and District La Brea for putting the event together. Thank you to O.P.I. for providing the nail colors and Studio DNA for the hair braiding. And to Roxy Limon for her amazing interview video that you will see on the blog tomorrow!

I had been waiting to wear this gorgeous striped sequin dress by MM Couture and I figured this event was the perfect opportunity. It was the perfect outfit accessorized with beige Shoe Mint lace-up heels, simply make up and dazzling with my favorite Judith Bright pieces.

And thank you so much Studio DNA and my hair stylist Olga for doing such a fabulous job on my hair. I cannot thank you enough! That hour at your studio helped make my entire day amazing. (And the coffee was fantastic!) I encourage anyone looking for a fantastic and relaxing experience to visit their salon on La Brea Ave. I will be going back in 2 weeks to get my eyebrows done! Sunday I watched my younger sister, Kelly, graduate from college. Something about graduations and weddings always makes me cry. I was so proud to see her up there accepting her diploma looking gorgeous and beaming. It seemed like a while ago since I graduated from UCLA. But I felt the excitement and remembered my special day 3 years ago.

Santa Barbara has the most beautiful climate. It was sunny with a cool breeze. We ate lunch at The Natural Cafe on State Street. It was delicious and I highly suggest you all try it if you ever visit SB. I haven’t stopped wearing my new Prada sunnies since I got them. They are my favorite color and I love the cat-eye shape. Also, don’t forget to wear wedges to graduations that are outside. It makes walking so much easier and you don’t have to worry about getting stuck in the grass.
